A little snack during the morning break or a dessert after lunch? We at Vanillaplan visit construction sites in the Basel region and bring vanilla cornets along. When it is hot outside in ice-cream form, and now that it is getting cooler again as a cornet with a cream filling.

We enjoy exchanging ideas with employees on site at the construction sites. While our vanilla cornets are being eaten, we talk about our Vanillaplan software and are always curious about the reactions that come directly from those involved. What do they find useful, what rather superfluous? And which additional functions would they like so that they can organise their day-to-day work on the construction site even better? These are often the most valuable pointers, because they come from the people we develop our software for in the first place and who experience life on the construction site day after day. That is why we are grateful for this input and are happy to incorporate the suggestions into the further development of our software.

Vanilla ice cream, vanilla cornets, Vanillaplan - what is it about vanilla?
Vanillaplan is perhaps not the most typical name for a company in the construction industry. However, we chose this name because the word vanilla sounds similar in every language and the taste of vanilla is loved by young and old alike. From English «vanilla» through Italian «vaniglia», Russian «vanil» or Turkish «vanilya». That makes the name international and understandable across all languages, countries and cultures - and that is what we want.

The reactions to our vanilla cornet campaigns on construction sites have been consistently positive so far. Most people greatly enjoyed the little dessert and we were able to use the opportunity for a shared exchange.
