Navigating quickly back and forth in Vanillaplan is essential for daily work in the software. There are therefore various ways of moving around Vanillaplan, which we would like to show you today.
On the one hand, on the home page you can click the views under Planning, Master data, Administration and Miscellaneous individually and so reach the view you want. The same layout is offered by the hamburger menu at the top left, through which you can select the same views individually. Another option is the browser buttons, with which you can navigate forwards and backwards.
What you may not have discovered yet is the navigation display at the top left: this shows the path of the page you have open. If you are creating several projects or resources and repeatedly switching between the project or resource form and the project or resource list, you can simply select Projects or Resources in the navigation display and you are back in the list view with one click. If, after creating a new project, you want to go back to the project or resource view without going via the hamburger menu, simply click «Vanillaplan» in the navigation display and you are back on the start page. With one more click you then get to the project or resource view.
