In Vanillaplan you can set things up so that you can edit new events immediately when you create them.
How does it work?
In the project and resource view, the toolbar contains a button showing a square with an arrow - to the right of the button for creating a new record. If you select it so that it is highlighted in grey, an event window opens each time you create a new event, allowing you to edit the assignment. This means that when a new event is created it can be set directly to part-time or percentage-based, repetitions can be defined or descriptions added.
